question about 4 point seat belts?
If most 4 point seat belts in sports cars don't "give" or allow for slack, wouldn't they be less safe than a regular 3 point because it doesn't allow you to go into the airbag and have the impact absorbed by it?

Neither 3-point or 4-point belt systems are designed to give. If you are seated the proper distance from the steering wheel the airbag will reach you regardless of the belt type.
