astra diesel fuel filter change. Do i need to bleed or empty the resevior b4 adding new filter?
on a 1.7dt astra engine 53 reg, isuzu engine. before i plop the new fuel filter in the resevoir on i need to empty out the diesel in there, and also, do i need to get the air out after i've put the top back on somehow??
Don't worry about the fuel left in the canister - there's usually a hand primer or bleed screw on top of the pump on the rotor type pump vehicles, the later cdti ones are pressurised & should bleed themselves.
