steering goes stiff then normal, 95 jeep wrangler?
does this mean my power steering pump is going, my dad looked at everything mechanically and said its fine, he replaced the universal on the drivers side,but that was the only thing bad, the steering will go normal then stiff, then normal and stiff again,
The steering column can cause that problem , also it could be the steering pump itself and I'd highly recommend getting a used steering pump from a u pick auto wreckers and trying that first.
